It's coming up again! Contra! English! It's an English/American dance weekend! It's got a new name because...well...because. We love our new name - "Sarsaparilla" conjures up the frontier spirit of America, and we intend to kick up our heels and live up to that image.
Contra the way English dancers like it, with spit and polish and interesting music, and English the way Contra dancers like it - full of energy and joyous sponteneity. Here's how we plan to achieve it:

Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Monday Club
- 8-11 pm Contra Dance, calling by Adina Gordon
- 11 pm After Party at the Monday Club, featuring Snake River Sarsaparilla
Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Monday Club
- 10 am-12 pm English workshop with Adina Gordon
- 12-2 pm Lunch on your own
- 2-4 pm English workshop with Adina Gordon
- 4-8 pm Nap, dinner on your own, dress
- 8-11 pm English Country Dance (dressy attire)
Sunday morning, September 2, 2012
- 10 am Potluck Brunch
- 12:30 pm Flash Dance
Sunday evening, September 2, 2012 at the Monday Club
7-10 pm Childgrove Country Dancers - regular Sunday dance at the Monday Club
